Glen Ellyn Police Report Theft and Property Damage

One arrest made, the others got away.

Theft Arrest

Thomas C. Phee, 68, 22W445 McCarron Road, Glen Ellyn, was arrested and charged with theft under $500 at Village Green Park, 130 S. Lambert Ave., at 10:39 a.m. Oct. 29.

Someone stole Halloween decorations from a home on the 300 block of Pennsylvania between 11 p.m. Oct. 22 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 23.

A $100 Magna boys bicycle was stolen from First United Methodist Church, 424 Forest, between 6 and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 23.

A black Schwinn mountain bike with red lettering was taken from a bike rack near the train station sometime during the past month. The bike was locked, and the victim reported it stolen at 2:15 p.m. Oct. 27

Property Damage

Someone scratched both sides of a vehicle parked at Rodeway Inn, 677 Roosevelt Road, between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and 7:40 a.m. Oct. 8.

Someone scratched a vehicle parked at 430 Pennsylvania between 9:55 and 10:15 a.m. Oct. 30.
