Glen Ellyn Police Make Arrests for Drugs, Battery at Budgetel Inn Last Week

Arrest information taken from the Glen Ellyn police blotter Dec. 30-Jan. 4.

Two people were arrested for drug possession in Glen Ellyn last week, police reported.

Jenniver A. Weber, 19, 21W563 Monticello Road, Glen Ellyn, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, 30 grams and under, and possession of drug paraphernalia at Buena Vista and South Ellyn Avenue at 3:27 p.m. Jan. 4.

Craig D. Caldwell, 32, 390 Lambert Road, Glen Ellyn, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, 30 grams or under, at Budgetel Inn, 675 Roosevelt Road, at 11:07 a.m. Jan. 2.

Police reported another arrest at Budgetel Inn a few days earlier.

Kirsten S. Park, 39, who lists her home address as the Wheaton PADS shelter, 703 W. Liberty, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at Budgetel Inn at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 30.

Why does the Village continue to allow this eye sore and community safety concern to exist. A slow drive by or walk thru clearly identifies numerous code violations. A haven for criminal activity!
