Glen Ellyn Man Charged With Fighting on Church Property: Police Blotter

SUNDAY, AUG. 25

Scratched Vehicle

Someone scratched a vehicle while it was parked in a driveway on the 800 block of Highview. The incident occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., according to police. The damage is estimated at $400.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 21

Fighting

Richard T. Daly, 66, of the 600 block of Coolidge Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged with fighting. Daly was arrested at 7:05 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on the 300 block of North Main Street, according to police.

Unlawful Solicitation

DeAndre Ray Relerford, 25, of the 200 block of Belden Street, Michigan City, Mich., was charged with unlawful solicitation. Relerford was arrested at 6:25 p.m. on the 200 block of Scott Avenue, according to police.

TUESDAY, AUG. 20

Stolen Bike

Someone stole a bicycle from an unlocked garage on the 500 block of Hawthorne. The incident occurred sometime between 8 p.m. Aug. 19 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 20.

MONDAY, AUG. 19

Public Indecency

Addie J. Ward, 45, of the first block of Greenwood, Glen Ellyn, was charged with public indecency. Ward was arrested at 9:36 p.m. on the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, according to police.

SUNDAY, AUG. 18

Graffiti at the Park

Someone spray-painted graffiti along the sidewalk between the playground equipment and south of the boathouse at Lake Ellyn Park on the 600 block of Lenox.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

Someone entered several vehicles that were parked in a parking lot on the 100 block of Spring Avenue and stole a purse and a wallet. The incident sometime between 11:45 a.m. and 12:11 p.m.
