A man was charged with attempted identity theft and possession of another person’s identification Tuesday, according to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.

An investigation and a tip from a resident led to the arrest Tuesday of Mark Kozlowski, 18, of the 3 S 000 block of Cypress Drive, DuPage County Sheriff John Zaruba said in a news release.

A resident in unincorporated Glen Ellyn contacted the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office on June 25 and reported that while away on vacation it appeared someone had gone through mail and opened it up.
