DuPage DUI Arrests, Oct. 6 Edition

Oct. 1: Ralph I. Austgen, of the 5400 block of Westview Lane, Lisle, was arrested at 4:19 p.m. on Curtiss and Belmont Avenue. Austgen was charged with DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC greater than .08 and failure to reduce speed. His red Chevrolet S-10 was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. He was released on an I-bond and has an Oct. 30 court date in Wheaton.

Sept. 24: Mary E. Fleming, of the 1200 block of Mcknight Drive, Bethel Park, Pa., was arrested at 11:54 p.m. at Dunham and Palmer. Fleming was charged with DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC greater than .08, speeding and improper lane usage. Her white Hyundai Elantra was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. She was released on an I-bond and has an Oct. 30 court date in Wheaton.

Sept. 19: Jason N. Antepenko, of the 6300 block of Wilshire, Downers Grove, was arrested at 4:13 p.m. on the 5200 block of Brookbank. Antepenko was charged with DUI alcohol, possession of cannabis — less than 2.5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and leaving the scene of an accident — personal injury. His red two-door Mini Cooper was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. He was released on an I-bond and has an Oct. 16 court date in Wheaton.

Sept. 27: Taurus George, 33, of the 5400 block of Cortez, Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI drugs, driving without insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol after police stopped for a motorist assist at Roosevelt Road and Euclid at 1:07 a.m. He was released on bond.

Sept. 19: Kim Becker, 40, of Elmhurst (no address given), was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and endangering the life of a child after police received a call for a DUI driver on the 500 block of Spring Road at 7:45 p.m. Police said Becker was located with a 6-year-old in her vehicle.

Sept. 14: Pauline Picardi, 21, of the 200 block of West Wagner Drive, Northlake, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs after police pulled over her gray Honda Civic for disobeying a traffic control signal and speeding at Interstate 290 and Route 83 at 2:08 a.m. She also was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on bond.

LEMONT

Sept. 24: Mary Ann Gines, 35, of the 800 block of Singer Avenue, Lemont, was arrested at 3:07 a.m. following a traffic stop at Old Lemont Road and State Street. She was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and speeding. Gines was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Sept. 21: Zbigniew Tyrala, 38, of the 14500 block of West 136th Street, Homer Glen, was arrested at 8:39 p.m. following an accident at Archer Avenue and McCarthy Road. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. Zbigniew was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Sept. 19: Collin D. Rafferty, 18, of the 100 block of Timberline Drive, Lemont, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. following a traffic stop at Roberta Street and Timberline. He was charged with the following:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol
  • Criminal trespass to state property
  • Illegal possession of alcohol by a minor
  • Illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor
  • Operation of an uninsured motor vehicle

Rafferty was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

WHEATON

Aug. 25: Police charged Michelle L. Zenetos, 29, of the first block of Wheaton Center, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Zenetos was driving a red 2004 Hyundai Accent at 2:16 a.m. at Carlton and Liberty when police initiated a traffic stop.

Also arrested at the same time and place was Eric J. Hendricks, 32, of the 1200 block of West Manchester, Wheaton. Hendricks was charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Zenetos and Hendricks were taken to the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Aug. 24: Police charged Steven Galan, 28, of the 2100 block of Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Galan was driving a white 1996 Lincoln Town Car at 8:12 p.m. at Blanchard and Folkstone when police initiated a traffic stop. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released at his home later that evening.

Aug. 23: Police charged Joseph Rocco Segreti, 26, of the 1200 block of Ashley Lane, Addison, with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Segreti was driving a black 2001 Acura TL at 12:08 p.m. at President Street and Roosevelt Road when police initiated a traffic stop. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that afternoon.

Aug. 15: Police charged Collin J. Hamman, 22, of the first block of Muirfield Circle, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of drugs. Hamman was driving a white 2005 Lexus 470 at 1:36 a.m. on the 500 block of South County Farm Road when police initiated a traffic stop. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

WOODRIDGE

Sept. 13:

  • Adam Kalina, 20, of the 0-100 block of Nadelhoffer Court in Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance following a traffic accident at 11:39 p.m. in the 3000 block of Roberts Drive.  
  • Anthony Onorati, 42, of the 1700 block of Auburn Avenue in Naperville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic incident at 9:57 p.m. near Green Road and Hobson.
