DOWNERS GROVE

June 5: Gina F. Klein, of the 8500 block of Gleneyre, Darien, was arrested at 1:41 a.m. at 67th and Main streets. Klein was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08 and improper lane usage. Her blue Ford Explorer was towed from the scene to an impound lot. She was released on I-bond and has a July 3 court date in Wheaton.

June 2: Gorgi Z. Pavlovski, of the 1200 block of Richfield Court, Woodridge, was arrested at 2:33 a.m. on the 5100 block of Mochel. Pavlovski was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08, driving the wrong way on a one-way street and improper lane usage. His black BMW 330ci was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a June 26 court date in Wheaton.

June 1: Zachary N. Augustine, of the 5900 block of Greenview, Lisle, was arrested at 4:28 a.m. at Butterfield Road and Route 53. Augustine was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08, illegal transportation of alcohol and speeding. His silver Toyota FJ Cruiser was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a July 17 court date in Wheaton.

May 25:

  • Raul Lopez, of the 7100 block of Emerson Drive, Darien, was arrested at 2:46 a.m. at Claremont and Lyman. Lopez was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08, failure to reduce speed and driving an uninsured vehicle. His silver Chevy Cobalt was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a June 26 court date in Wheaton.
  • Robert M. Dunne, of the 3800 block of Washington, Westmont, was arrested at 2:01 a.m. at Main Street and Ogden Avenue. Dunne was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08, no insurance and speeding. His silver Hyundai Elantra was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a June 26 court date in Wheaton.
  • Sean A. Love, of the 2500 block of Crystal Court, Woodridge, was arrested at 12:39 a.m. at Dexter and Richards. Love was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08 and possession of alcohol by a minor. His gray Nissan Altima was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a July 3 court date in Wheaton. 

May 24: Kurt G. Larsen, 58, of the 200 block of Lake Hinsdale, Willowbrook, was arrested at 12:26 p.m. at Main Street and Ogden Avenue. He was charged with the following:

  • Driving under the combined influence of alcohol, other drugs or intoxicating compounds 
  • Improper lane usage
  • Possession of an alcoholic liquor (driver)
  • Failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision
  • Operating an uninsured vehicle

His black Chevrolet Trailblazer was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a June 26 court date in Wheaton.

May 23: William W. Anderson, of the 5800 block of Forest View, Lisle, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. at Curtiss and Main Street. Anderson was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over .08, improper lane usage and failure to notify the Secretary of State of an address change. His red Acura Integra was towed from the scene to an impound lot. He was released on I-bond and has a July 15 court date in Wheaton. 

ELMHURST

June 4: Sarah C. Fuger, 25, of the 600 block of Berkley, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled over her black Nissan Altima for speeding at Palmer Drive and Schiller at 1:06 a.m. She was released on bond.

June 1:

  • Imran S. Baig, 21, of the 3200 block of Westview Drive, Northlake, was arrested and charged with DUI after his black Jeep Liberty struck a house on the 600 block of North Kenilworth on June 1. Police said he left the scene. When police located him at 7:21 a.m., he reportedly was unconscious behind the wheel. In addition to DUI, he was charged with reckless driving, resisting arrest, possession of cannabis and improper backing. He was released on bond. 
  • Robert Sheehan, 54, of the 4000 block of Arthur, Brookfield, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his black Chevrolet Corvette in connection with speeding at Route 83 and Riverside Drive at 1:56 a.m. He was released on bond. 

May 31:

Ashley Schmit, 22, of the 3000 block of Alta, Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to give information after the red Subaru Outback she was driving was involved in a crash at 190 S. Prospect at 1:52 a.m. She was released on bond. 

HINSDALE

June 2: Piotr Pisarczyk, 23, of the 3600 block of West 55th Street, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving off a roadway. Police at 4:14 a.m. were dispatched to assist a motorist stuck in a ditch by the Route 83 exit ramp to 55th Street, according to a report. Pisarczyk was observed at the scene to be under the influence of alcohol and refused a breath test to determine blood alcohol level. He was charged and released to appear in court.

June 1:

  • Frank A. Levato, 61, of the 300 block of Trinity Lane, Oak Brook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal and improper lane usage. Police at 10:41 p.m. stopped Levato at 55th Street and Route 83 for improper lane use and failing to signal a lane change, according to a report. He was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and refused a breath test to determine blood alcohol level. He was charged and released to appear in court.
  • Scott T. Hylard, 21, of the 5500 block of South Madison Street, Hinsdale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC .08 or more and driving off a roadway. Hylard at 5:33 p.m. drove off the road at 55th Street and County Line Road to avoid hitting a parked police squad car investigating a traffic accident, according to a report. He was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted a breath test that indicated his blood alcohol content was greater than .08. He was charged and released to appear in court.

WHEATON

June 2: Police charged Harka B. Tamang, 25, of the 400 block of North President, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Tamang was arrested at 12:01 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Community while driving a white 2000 Dodge Caravan, according to a police report. Tamang was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

June 1:

  • Police charged John K. Bogue, 41, of the 100 block of West Loop, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Bogue was arrested at 1:20 a.m. at Brahms and West Loop while driving a red 2013 Toyota Tacoma, according to a police report. Bogue was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released to his home later that morning, according to a report.
  • Police charged Martin Amezola, 49, of the first block of Johns Lane, Aurora, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Amezola was arrested at 12:25 a.m. at Gary and Thomas while driving a maroon or burgundy 1989 Chevrolet Celebrity CL, according to a police report. Amezola was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

May 30: Police charged Jessica L. Baley, 26, of the 2400 block of Wild Cherry Court, Aurora, with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Baley was driving a silver or aluminum 2003 Nissan Sentra at 12:06 a.m. at Butterfield Road and Cromwell when police initiated a traffic stop. Baley was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

May 28: Police charged Gregory D. Slapak, 62, of the 400 block of West Front Street, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol or drugs, according to a report. Slapak was arrested at 1:40 p.m. at Central DuPage Hospital. He was booked and released at the Wheaton Police Department later that day.

The offense occurred the day before at 5:43 a.m. May 27 on the 1700 block of North Gary Avenue, according to police. Slapak was driving a gold 1995 Cadillac Deville. 

May 27:

  • Police charged Nitin Soni, 31, of the 2700 block of Leyland Lane, Aurora, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Soni was arrested at 1:42 a.m. at Roosevelt and Sunnyside while driving a white Toyota Solana, according to a police report. Soni was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
  • Police charged Kenneth White, 20, of the 3200 block of Cool Springs Court, Naperville, with driving under the influence of drugs. White was arrested at 1:53 a.m. at Main Street and Wakeman while driving a gray 1997 Saturn SL, according to a police report. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

May 25: Police charged Mio Sota, 27, of the 2900 block of North Damen Avenue, Chicago, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Sota was arrested at 3:17 a.m. at Carlton and Childs while driving a black 2007 Nissan Xterra, according to a police report. Sota was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

May 24:

  • Police charged James P. Gauthier, 51, of the 1000 block of Irving Park Road, Itasca, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Gauthier was arrested at 10:40 p.m. at Blanchard and College Avenue while driving a dark blue 2007 Toyota Corolla, according to a police report. Gauthier was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released early the next morning.
  • Police charged Margaret Mae, 65, of the 1100 block of Loughborough Court, Wheaton, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Mae was arrested at 10:04 p.m. at Lowden and President while driving a silver or aluminum Chevrolet Malibu, according to a police report. Mae was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released early the next morning.
  • Police charged Adam B. Biggam, 33, of the 500 block of Phillips, Glen Ellyn, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Biggam was arrested at 12:40 a.m. at Lambert and Windsor while driving a black 2010 Ford Escape, according to a police report. Biggam was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.
