SATURDAY, AUG. 10

Retail theft

Police charged Laura D. Forrest, 65, of the 300 block of Pennsylvania, Glen Ellyn, with retail theft. Forrest was arrested at 2:46 p.m. on the 400 block of Crescent Road.

DUI

Jon Paul Pere, 32, of the 700 block of Glenbard Road, Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence and disobeying a traffic control device. Pere was arrested at 1:54 a.m. on the 600 block of Roosevelt Road.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 7

Drug paraphernalia

Police charged Cadeashia B. Ellis, 19, of the 2000 block of West Jackson, Chicago, with possession of drug paraphernalia. Ellis was arrested at 9:13 p.m. at Panfish Park.

Public intoxication

Police charged James M. Ostrowski, 56, of the 27W700 block of Roosevelt Road, Winfield, with public intoxication. Ostrowski was arrested at 8 p.m. on the 500 block of Roosevelt Road.

Door graffiti

Someone at 7:13 p.m. reported that several storage room doors were vandalized with spray paint on the 500 block of Park Plaza, according to police.

Theft

Someone at 8:59 a.m. reported that two patio chairs were stolen from the 400 block of Cottage Avenue.

SUNDAY, AUG. 4

Public indecency

Aaron J. Smith, 18, of the 300 block of Oak Street, Glen Ellyn, was charged with public indecency. Smith was arrested at 6:27 p.m. at Maryknoll Estates Pond.
