Someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway and stole $400 incash and other miscellaneous items. The incident occurred sometime between 8:45 p.m. July 17 and noon July 18 on the 500 block of Hill Avenue.

Thomas G. Pantoni, 43, of the 7300 block of Brookbank, Darien, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane usage. Pantoni was arrested at 1:58 a.m. on Roosevelt Road at I-355.

Theft under $500
A weed trimmer was reported stolen at 2 p.m. after it was left unattended at the Route 53/I-355 Underpass, police said.Broken car windows

DUI, hit and run
Aaron W. Richardson, 19, of the 3500 block of Sweet Maggie Lane, Naperville, was charged with driving under the influence, hit and run and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Richardson was arrested at 4:49 p.m. at Roosevelt Road and Pershing Avenue.
SUNDAY, JULY 14
Revoked license, speeding
Richard C. Dombrowski, 52, of the 400 block of South Chase, Wheaton, was charged with driving while license revoked and speeding. Dombrowski was arrested at 7:54 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Sunset Avenue.DUI, speeding
Scott J. Verhil, 27, of the 1200 block of Dogwood Lane, Carol Stream, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding. Verhil was arrested at 1:59 a.m. at St. Charles Road and Lenox.
