DUI Arrests in Glen Ellyn

Here are a few items from the Glen Ellyn police blotter.

  • While on patrol on Feb. 10 around 3:45 a.m., an officer pulled over Juan J. Cruz, 23, of the 21W600 block of Dorchester CT. in Glen Ellyn for a traffic violation. Cruz was subsequently charged with a two-count complaint for Driving Under the Influence and issued a traffic citation for Improper Lane Usage. 
  • On Feb. 11 at 12:45 a.m., police preformed a traffic stop on Bruce A. Greenberg, 59, of the 1900 block of Illinois in Wheaton. Greenberg was charged with a two-count complaint for Driving Under the Influence and issued traffic citations for Improper Lane Usage, Speeding, driving without his lights on and disobeying a traffic signal device.
  • Patricia Rodriguez, 32, of the 1900 block of Grove Ave. in Berwyn was pulled over by an officer on Feb. 11 around 10 a.m. at the intersection of Nicoll Way and Roosevelt Rd. Rodriguez was subsequently charged with one count of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of a combination of an intoxicating compound and other drugs on Feb. 11 around 10 a.m. Rodriguez was transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Matthew E. Artzberger, 39, of 2000 block of Elizabeth Pl., in Rolling Meadows was pulled over by an officer in the South Main Parking Lot in downtown Glen Ellyn on Feb. 11 at 8:56 a.m. After the officer made contact, Artzberger was charged with a one-count complaint for Driving Under the Influence.
  • Grant K. VanByssum, 30, of the 100 block of Montclair Ave., in Glen Ellyn was charged with a one-count complaint for Driving Under the Influence and issued a traffic citation for Improper Lane Usage after he was pulled over by an officer on Feb. 12 at 1:56 a.m. near Route 53 and Bryant Ave.
