Dispute Leads to Arrest for Weapons Charges
A 55-year-old man was taken into custody Saturday for unlawful possession of a firearm.
According to a recent press release, police responded to a dispute between roommates and later arrested Charles M. Wise, 55, of Glen Ellyn for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputy Police Chief Bill Holmer told TribLocal that Wise was involved in an argument with his roommate in the 600 block of St. Charles Road, June 11 at 1:24 p.m. When police entered the home they retrieved multiple pistols and other weapons.
According to the report, Wise was in possession of a stun gun without a valid FOID card.

However, Holmer told TribLocal that the weapons were not used or connected with the dispute involving Wise's roommate.
