Sentencing has been set for the Elmhurst mother who pleaded guilty to aggravated battery to a child in connection to a June 2011 incident involving her son. Cheryl Luchetta had been charged with attempted murder after her she awoke to find her son unresponsive inside their Elmhurst home last year. Police and prosecutors said Luchetta drugged the boy before cutting her own throat. Luchetta pleaded guilty in July to the aggravated battery charge in a deal with prosecutors. Quevedo was sentenced to 90 days in DuPage County Jail, with credit for half that amount as time served, put on 24 months of probation and ordered to stay away from the store. Prosecutors dropped two attempted robbery counts as part of the plea agreement, documents state.
