Wheaton police issued a local ordinance citation of marijuana possession to Marquis Green, 18, of the 300 block of Sandhurst Circle in Glen Ellyn. He was arrested near the intersection of Blanchard Street and Casa Solana Drive around midnight and released on the scene.

Illegal Credit Card Use
Someone stole a purse from a shopping cart at Dominick's, 880 Roosevelt Road, and used the owner's credit card between 6:15 and 6:45 p.m.

Jewelry, Checks Stolen From Home
Someone stole a box of checks and jewelry from a home in the 300 block of Lorraine Road between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Illegal Credit Card Use
Someone used the credit card in a purse stolen from an unattended shopping cart at Jewel, 599 Roosevelt Road, around 5:30 p.m.

Beer Can Thrown Through Window
Someone threw a beer can and broke a basement window in the 200 block of Woodstock Avenue between 11 p.m. March 17 and 9 a.m. March 18.
SUNDAY, MARCH 17
DUI
- Police charged Courtney Bell, 20, of Chicago with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, speeding and driving without lights. She was arrested near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Parkside Drive around 4:40 a.m.
- Police charged Stephen Dee, 53, of Wheaton with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. He was arrested near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Pershing Avenue around 11:40 p.m.
Trespasser Steals "No Trespassing" Sign
Someone stole a "no trespassing" sign hanging on the fence at a home in the 600 block of Prairie Avenue between 5 and 6:30 p.m.
