FRIDAY, AUG. 2

Illegal dumping

Police charged Cole N. Rebora, 41, of the 800 block of Lenox, Glen Ellyn, with illegal dumping. Rebora was arrested at 7:29 p.m. at Forest Glen Elementary School on the 500 block of Elm.

DUI, failure to reduce speed

Gregory P. Huber, 49, of the 800 block of Ravinia, Batavia, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Huber was arrested at 3:46 p.m. at Roosevelt Road and Parkside.

Assault

Police charged Constance J. Pozdol, 57, of the 300 block of Spring, Glen Ellyn, with assault. Pozdol was arrested at 11:12 a.m. on the 300 block of Spring.

THURSDAY, AUG. 1

Residential burglary

Someone entered a home and stole a backpack and some miscellaneous jewelry at 11:35 a.m. on the 300 block of Maple.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 31

Aggravated battery of officer

Police charged Juan Quinto, 33, of the first block of Main Street, Glen Ellyn, with domestic battery, resisting a peace officer and aggravated battery of a peace officer. Quinto was arrested at 9:51 p.m. on the first block of Main Street.

Public intoxication

Police charged Anthony M. Krause, 25, of DuPage PADS, 703 W. Liberty, Wheaton with public intoxication. Krause was arrested at 9:46 p.m. at Hillcrest and Roosevelt Road.

TUESDAY, JULY 30

Residential burglary

Someone entered a home and stole a bottle of vodka, a stove and a lawn mower from the garage. The incident occurred sometime between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on the 300 block of Elm.

MONDAY, JULY 29

DUI, suspended license

Haile Gebre, 34, of the 900 block of West Lakeside, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Gebre was arrested at 11:17 p.m. on the 800 block of Roosevelt Road.

Battery

Police charged Maxine C. McQueen, 38, of the 300 block of Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, with battery. McQueen was arrested at 4:58 p.m. on the 300 block of Duane.

No license

Carlos S. Tovar, 39, of the 400 block of South Hale Street, Wheaton, was charged with no valid driver's license. Tovar was arrested at 4:18 p.m. at Hill and Bryant avenues.

DUI, improper lighting

Anthony T. Kuesis, 18, of the first block of Glen Hill Court, Glendale Heights, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lighting. Kuesis was arrested at 2:11 a.m. at Western and Hawthorne.

Criminal damage to property

Cyrus D. Hazemi, 19, of the 600 block of West Pleasant, Lombard, was charged with criminal damage to property. Hazemi was arrested at 2:11 a.m. on the 900 block of Sheehan.

SUNDAY, JULY 28

Arson

Someone reported a mattress that was set on fire at 11:53 p.m. on the 300 block of Elm, according to police.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Someone entered a vehicle and stole a green I-pod charger. The incident took place at 10 p.m. on the 300 block of Hawthorne.

Graffiti

Someone reported graffiti on the outside of a building at 7:58 p.m. on the 300 block of Roosevelt Road.

Public intoxication, criminal damage

Police charged John R. Wheeler, 18, of the 700 block of Hillside, Glen Ellyn, with public intoxication and criminal damage to property. Wheeler was arrested at 2:06 a.m. at St. Marks Episcopal Church on the 300 block of North Main Street.
