DUI, Speeding

Fernando Munoz, 21, of the 800 block of Brentwood Drive, West Chicago, was charged at 4:30 a.m. with DUI, speeding and driving an uninsured motor vehicle at Roosevelt Road and Parkside.

SATURDAY, MAY 11

Front Door, Window Damaged

Someone damaged the front door and front window of a residence on the 500 block of Forest Avenue. The incident occurred between 4:30 p.m. May 10 and 10:45 a.m. on this day, according to police.

DUI, Speeding

Keith A. Martinez, 35, of the first block of Briar Street, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 1:23 a.m. with DUI, speeding and no driver's license at Geneva Road and Main Street.

THURSDAY, MAY 9

Theft

Clarence Perry, 40, of the 700 block of West Liberty Avenue, Wheaton, was charged at 5:50 p.m. with theft on the 500 block of Deerpath.

Littering

Mark E. Parenty, 55, of the 700 block of West Liberty Avenue, Wheaton, was charged at 8:57 a.m. with littering on the 400 block of Roosevelt Road.

Criminal Damage

Someone damaged a piece of construction equipment between 5 p.m. May 8 and 6:45 a.m. on this day at Glen Ellyn Manor Park, police said.

MONDAY, MAY 6

Cell Phone Snatched

Someone stole a cell phone at 6:45 p.m. from an unlocked vehicle while the owner was in a store on the 300 block of Roosevelt Road, police said.

Aggravated DUI, Illegal Transportation

Florencio Marquez-Mendez, 20, of the 500 block of Lynn Court, Glendale Heights, was charged with the following:

• Aggravated driving under the influence
• Illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor
• Uninsured motor vehicle
• Suspended or revoked driver's license
• Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident

Police arrested Marquez-Mendez at 4:01 p.m. on Main Street and High, according to a report. Police also charged Concepcion Marquez, 32, same address, with permitting an unauthorized person to drive.

SUNDAY, MAY 5

Bike Theft

Someone took an unattended bicycle between 6 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. left on the front lawn of a home on the 400 block of Dorset Pl, police said.

DUI, Speeding

Samantha A. Evans, 37, of the 900 block of South Lorraine Road, Wheaton, was charged at 12:16 a.m. with DUI and improper lane usage at Roosevelt Road and Lambert.
