A View from Above
A ride in "the snorkel" reveals a view of Glen Ellyn from above the treetops.
While taking a few pictures of a Sunday training session with the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company, I was offered a great opportunity to hop in the basket of the snorkel: a 78 ft. extendable arm on the back of the firetruck.
I snapped some pictures from the top, revealing a unique view of downtown Glen Ellyn from above the treetops.
