11-year-old Hadley Student Accused of Assaulting Teacher
Incident occurred Thursday at dismissal.
An 11-year-old student at Hadley Junior High School in Glen Ellyn is accused of assaulting a staff member on Thursday as school was letting out, according to an email sent to parents by Superintendent Paul Gordon.
The incident also was reported by ABC 7 News, which said the student, a boy, "pushed or hit a staff member because he was angry that he had to stay after school."
In the email, Gordon said no weapons were involved and the incident is now a police matter.
