Pets of the Week: Aye Chihuahua! Chill DJ Whiskas
Every week Glen Ellyn Patch shares information on adoptable pets waiting for permanent homes.
Each week we bring you two pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from DuPage County Animal Care and Control. We welcome other animal shelters and rescue groups to contact us to participate in this weekly column. To participate, contact Glen Ellyn Local Editor Mary Ann Lopez.
Niles
Niles is a neutered, male, 4-to-5-year-old, Chihuahua that came into DuPage County Animal Care and Control as a stray. Unfortunately, no one came looking for Niles and he is in need of a new home. Niles loves to snuggle and cuddle. He has also taken to sitting on staff member’s laps, which literally makes him the perfect lap dog. He is looking for a home with a nice lap to makes his life complete.
DJ Whiskas
DJ Whiskas is a neutered, male, 1-year-old short-hair cat. He came to DuPage Animal Care and Control because his family had allergies. He seems to like other cats and children. DJ Whiskas is a great combination of calm and playful. He doesn’t mind hanging out or having some fun. Since the shelter does not own music equipment they cannot make any comments on his dee-jaying skills.
