Granite Security Services (GSSI) Preparing to Conduct Illinois Concealed Carry Classes in Lombard

Instructors and curriculum have been approved by the Illinois State Police for Concealed Carry Classes

Granite Security Services (GSSI) announces they have been fully approved by the Illinois State Police to move forward with their Illinois Concealed Carry courses.

GSSI's President and Vice President currently serve as law enforcement officers who have numerous years of experience in the field of firearms and firearm training.

" It's more important to learn when to shoot vs. how to shoot in your concealed carry training class. Whether you were justified or not, you extremely likely to be sued. Know what to expect during civil litigation. Ask the other instructors out there if you're going to learn this with them" said Chris Burne, President, Granite Security Services.

Chris is a U.S. Marine Veteran who was a pistol and rifle expert during his term of service. Since 2001, Chris has been a certified firearms instructor training police officers as well as private citizens to be more proficient with firearms. He also teaches civilian firearms for Citizen’s Police Academy. As an instructor, Chris is trained in several tactical firearms courses, firearms instructor development, range design and construction, and range operations management.

Thomas Hogan, Vice President, works as a field training officer in addition to his law enforcement duties. He displays excellent proficiency with firearms and instructs officers as well as civilians to be more proficient with firearm operation.

GSSI's concealed carry classes will be held in Lombard on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m for the convenience of their students.

Licensed, Certified, Insured and Experienced

There are many con-artists popping up here in Illinois who are not approved, nor do they have the experience to teach firearms training that are offering classes.

"I have had large amounts of people come to me questioning if this is a valid course" explains Michelle Pennington, Operations Manager. "It is extremely important to do your research on instructors before choosing a concealed carry class to ensure that your application for a concealed carry permit will not be denied by the Illinois State Police".
