Cyrena T. Galati, nee Gossan, 87, of Glen Ellyn and formerly of Oak Lawn, passed away peacefully in her home with her children present.

She was the beloved wife of the late Victor M. Galati; loving mother of Michael Galati, David Galati, Julie (Fred) Ritschard, Michelle Lindemulder, Linda (Greg) Terwilliger, and Victor J. (Jerilynn) Galati; proud grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of one; dear sister of Alfred (Marla) Gossan, and the late Frieda (Charlie) Piper, and Albert Gossan; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

"Cy" enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone, stating that "food is love." She also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with her husband, bingo, poker, and shopping. For all who knew her she made lasting impressions, was loved by many, and will be missed by many more.
