Wannetta Newton
Wannetta Roth Newton, 92, formerly of Glen Ellyn, died Dec. 1.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John. She is survived by her children, Barbara and Charles, her step-children, Richard and Margaret, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and 19 step great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Springmoor auditorium, 1500 Sawmill Road, Raleigh, NC.

Douglas Pihlstrom
Douglas G. Pihlstrom, 74, died Dec. 22 in Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Annemarie. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Jo; his children, Susan of Silver Spring, Md., and Michael of Glen Ellyn; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place in Virginia at a later date.
