Rebecca Graham

Rebecca Ann "Beckie" (Langland) Graham, 57, died peacefully in her daughter and son-in-law's home in Glen Ellyn Jan. 4. She was the Minnesota State Archery Associations Grand Champion for the past several years and drove a school bus for more than 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odin Langland and Dorothy (Volkman) Langland, and her brother, Russell Langland. She is survived by her children, Kendra (Jim) Ross of Glen Ellyn and Jolene (Gabe) Wyant of Elkhorn, Wisc., and four grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held June 21 in Minnesota.

Frances Jones

Frances Jones, 95, of Glen Ellyn, died Dec. 17 in Geneva. She worked for many years at Creative Gift in Glen Ellyn, volunteered at Central DuPage Hospital and was an active member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Glen Ellyn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon. She is survived by her children, Nancy and Ellen, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Dec. 24 in Glen Ellyn.

Dr. Robert Johnson

Dr. Robert W. Johnson, 90, formerly of Glen Ellyn, died Jan. 5. He served in the US Navy from 1942-1969.

After moving to Glen Ellyn in 1970, he became coordinator of the photography department at College of DuPage, bringing the department national recognition and helping to launch many careers. 

He is survived by his wife, Karen; his children, Judith, Carol and Scott; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial celebration is being planned.
