Miriam Deeter

Miriam J. (Lecklider) Deeter, 92, of Glen Ellyn died Sunday, Dec. 22.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, and her son, David. She is survived by her daughter, Deby (James) Fellowes of Wheaton, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, in Troy, Ohio.

Joanne Yaeger

Joanne C. Yaeger, 84, formerly of Glen Ellyn, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, in La Crosse, Wisc. She was a teacher in Glen Ellyn from 1957 until her retirement in 1985, and was a member of the Glen Ellyn Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul. She is survived by her children, Mark and Mary Jo, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, in Onalaska, Wisc.

Robert Hammer

Robert Hammer, 89, of Glen Ellyn, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, at Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Bloomingdale.

Funeral services are being arranged by Laird Funeral Home in Elgin.
