Margaret Sobie

Margaret "Marge" Sobie, 85, a Glen Ellyn resident since 1960, died Friday, Sept. 13. She was a long-standing member of the Catholic Daughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her brothers, Frank "Buddy" and Raymond "Zazzie"; her sister, Marie "Teta"; her sister-in-law, Lorraine; and her brother-in-law, Raymond.

She is survived by her children, Bill (Donna), Bob (Martha) and Sue (Brian); and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at the Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at St. Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Ave., Glen Ellyn.

Alice Bauman

Alice C. Bauman, 88, died Friday, Sept. 13, in Glen Ellyn. She enjoyed life on the farm for 60 years, and was a lifetime member of Millburn Congregational Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; her son-in-law, Dalroy Haven; and her siblings, Kenneth, Robert, Margaret and Grace. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Haven of Glen Ellyn and Jo (Robin) Rae of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at noon Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Millburn Cemetery, 18943-18947 W Millburn Road, Old Mill Creek.
