Death Notices: Margaret Hoel, Charlotte Tranter
Visitation is Tuesday for Mrs. Tranter, memorial service will be Sept. 8 for Mrs. Hoel.
Margaret Jean Hoel
Margaret Jean Hoel, 92, of Carol Stream, died Aug. 24. She and her husband and two of their friends started the Park Forest Conservatory, which grew to have more than 600 music students.
Mrs. Hoel was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, W. Jay Hoel, and her brother, Charles E. Arthur. She is survived by her children, Jerilyn of Glen Ellyn and Jill Bremer of Oak Park, her four grandchildren, and her seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream.

Charlotte Tranter
Charlotte E. Tranter, 89, of Glen Ellyn, has died. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond. She is survived by her siblings and her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. Burial will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
