Howard Decamp

Howard Decamp, 80, of Lombard, died Oct. 12 at Arden Courts of Glen Ellyn. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Jannes; his children, Jennifer, Marcy and Timothy; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Edward Fanning

Edward D. "Duke" Fanning, 81, of Sandwich, died Saturday, Oct. 19, surrounded by his family. 

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janet; his children, Mark of Glen Ellyn, Nancy of Crystal Lake, Judy of Arvada, Co., Diane of Naperville, and Amy of Bloomington, Ind., 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Mr. Fanning was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict, and he worked as a carpenter before retiring from his position at Waubonsee Community College in 1996.

Services were held Tuesday.

Margaret Ruth Lepes

Margaret Ruth Lepes, 74, died Monday, Oct. 14. 

She is survived by her husband, John; her children and their spouses, Joann and Joe Mulvaney of Ridgefield, Conn., Lynda and Bill Miller of Glen Ellyn, John Lepes and Kathy McNeil of Flanders, Jason Lepes of Chandler, Ariz., and Lisa and Scott Puleo of Marblehead, Mass., and her 11 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, in New Jersey.
