Florence Kotlan

Florence R. Kotlan, 95, a longtime resident of Glen Ellyn, died Dec. 14. She was preceded in death by her husband, George. She is survived by her children, Glenn, Gary and Tina, her four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park.

John Sauerman

John Sauerman, 87, a longtime resident of Glen Ellyn, died Dec. 9. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, his children, Susan and Janet, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest Ave., Glen Ellyn.

Walter Carlson

Walter G. Carlson, 87, a graduate of Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, died Dec. 7. He was a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Carlson was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers and a nephew. He is survived by his sister, Carol, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Evangelical Covenant Church of Villa Park, 17W620 Riordan.
