Death Notice: Gerald Zito, 76, of Glen Ellyn
Visitation is Wednesday, funeral Mass on Thursday.
Gerald L. Zito, 76, died Monday, Sept. 30, surrounded by his family. He was a resident of Glen Ellyn for seven years, and a proud supporter of the Glenbard West High School Football team.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Zito Jr., his daughter, Pamela Zito Curry, and his great-granddaughter, Gianna Zito. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Arlene; his children, Tom, Laura, Marilyn and Joe; his 17 grandchildren; and his seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Road, Glendale Heights.
