State Rep. Sandy Pihos to Host Adult Technology Fair

State Representative Sandra Pihos (R-Glen Ellyn) will partner with AT&T on August 7 for an Adult Technology Fair at the Carlisle in Lombard.

Valerie Bruggeman, of the AT&T External Affairs Division, and an AT&T retail store employee will talk with attendees from 10:00 AM until noon on the 7th about smart phones, smart phone applications that benefit adults, and games that can be played on smart phones. Those who attend will also lean about easy ways they can communicate with loved ones and family members through Skype and Facetime. A question and answer session will be a part of the event.

“Smart phone technology can be intimidating even to those who have used cell phone technology,” said Pihos. “This AT&T presentation includes easy-to-understand information for how smart phones and other technology can help keep people connected to family, and make tasks like refilling prescriptions much easier.”
