Coffee and Dessert with State Rep. Sandy Pihos

Residents of House District 48 who are interested in learning about recent and upcoming legislation in the Illinois General Assembly, and also in sharing their views on current political issues, are encouraged to attend one of three upcoming constituent meetings being hosted by State Representative Sandra Pihos (R-Glen Ellyn).

At the meetings, Pihos will be on hand to discuss the challenges facing local residents and the State of Illinois, and citizens will have an opportunity to talk with the Representative about their priorities and concerns. “I look forward to these meetings because they provide a good opportunity for me to update my constituents and be educated by them,” Pihos said. “They also allow residents a platform for letting me know what issues are important to them, which in turn allows me to better represent their needs in Springfield.”

Three “Coffee and Dessert with Sandy” events have been scheduled in late July and early August, and residents may attend whichever is most convenient:

“After I provide a brief State of the State update, the topics of the evening are determined by those who attend the events,” said Pihos. “I hope many residents take advantage of this opportunity to have their voice heard on issues that are important to them.”
