Winter Storm Watch In Effect for DuPage County

DuPage County could receive six to 10 inches of snow Thursday evening.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch for Thursday evening. 

According to the weather service, rain is expected throughout the day Thursday followed by snow around 9 p.m. Snowfall is expected to be heavy at times and DuPage County could accumulate as much as six to 10 inches.

In the evening winds could reach 10 to 15 mph with the low around 30. Snow is likely Friday and there's a 60 percent chance of precipitation. According to the weather service, Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 34.
