National Public Lands Day - Get Outside!

The Glen Ellyn Park District is seeking volunteers for National Public Lands Days. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer event to improve and enhance the public lands Americans enjoy. NPLD brings together many thousands of individual and organizational volunteers to help restore the country's public lands. These are the places Americans use for outdoor recreation, education and just plain enjoyment.

National Public Lands Day at the Glen Ellyn Park District is a great way to get acquainted with local, as well as national public lands. All ages are invited to get outside and join us at Churchill Park for a variety of educational and stewardship activities.

Adults & Older Children: Lend a hand to help cut non-native, invasive trees. Tools and gloves will be provided.
