Glen Ellyn Park District Spring/Summer Guide and New Registration Procedure

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. – The Glen Ellyn Park District’s Spring/Summer Activity Guide will be delivered to resident households on Saturday, March 15, 2014. This season the Park District will be offering a wide-variety of summer camps, Sunset Pool passes, free miniature golf for Holes & Knolls 10-year anniversary, plus the Lake Ellyn Cardboard Regatta and Freedom Four 4-Mile Run.

The Spring/Summer Activity Guide will also include important information about the Park District’s new registration procedures.

On March 3, the Glen Ellyn Park District will launch its improved system for registration processing. The Park District is excited to better serve residents by offering a simpler and quicker registration process and a streamlined online user interface.

The new system will require that all patrons create a new account either online or in-person in order to register for Spring/Summer activities. With this improved system, registration for Park District activities will also move to a first come, first serve basis.

As a special thank you, the Park District is offering all users that create their accounts prior to March 20, 2014, a chance to win a $500 Gift Certificate to be used towards Park District activities. The winner of the gift certificate will be randomly selected and notified on March 21 – just in time for Spring/Summer registration!

The improved online registration system will allow users to:

  • Register for Park District programs and activities
  • View transaction history (for transactions on or after March 3, 2014)
  • Search for program and activities by name, date, and age
  • View a weekly schedule of users activities at the Park District

Beginning March 3, a “Create Your Account” button will be added to the homepage at www.gepark.org

Users can create an account online by clicking on the button and following the on-screen instructions or in-person at the Spring Avenue (185 Spring Avenue, Glen Ellyn) or Main Street (501 Hill Avenue, Glen Ellyn) Recreation Centers. The Park District is offering assistance by phone or email for users that need help creating their new accounts at either (630) 858-2462 or support@gepark.org.

There are certain registration exceptions for the following programs: Spring House Soccer, Girls Softball, Bulldogs Boys Lacrosse, and Youth Baseball will continue to register under the existing system for this season. Users can access registration for these programs by clicking on the “Register for Athletics” button at www.gepark.org.

Registration for Spring/Summer programs will open for residents on Monday, March 24 at 8:30am. Registration for non-residents will be available beginning Monday, April 7 at 8:30am.
