Free Health and Lifestyle Event

Health assessments, reduced cost Flu Shots, vision screenings and other beneficial resources like Driver’s License renewal services, will be available on Wednesday, September, 21, 2011 from 10 AM to 3 PM at Yorktown Shopping Center in Lombard.      Assessments available include free cataracts and glaucoma vision screening, body composition analysis, blood pressure testing, posture analysis, adult learning opportunities, social security information, foot and nerve scans, passport information, long term care, reflexology and relaxation techniques, financial education, and more. The DuPage Women’s Fair, hosted by State Representatives Patti Bellock and Sandra Pihos. is sponsored by Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, Advocate Good Samaritan, Hospital, Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare and DuPage Medical Group.   Informative speakers will be on stage throughout the day beginning at 10:15 AM.   Topics include Improving Bladder Health, Cardiology Treatment, Importance of Physical Examinations, Plastic Surgery, Using Midwives, Decreasing Your Waist Size and Easing Arthritis.     The Olive Tap and Lil Mad Café from  Yorktown’s Wednesday evening Farmer’s Market, will do food demonstrations at 12:15 PM.    More local events can be found at www.makeithappendupage.com.
