Steven Williamson-Link, a Glen Ellyn native and member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elmhurst, was ordained into the Holy Ministry this summer.
His first assignment for ministry is assistant pastor of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Cairo, N.Y.
He attended Concordia University in Mequon, Wisc., and Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he graduated last May.

Several Lutheran clergy from around the Chicago area attended a welcoming event for Williamson-Link in June. Rev. Scott Stiegemeyer, pastor of Redeemer, was the preacher, and Jonathan Mueller was cantor for the event.
