Groundhog Day 2012 Predictions

Can we expect an early spring?

Update: The world's legendary forecaster saw his shadow! That means we're in for another six weeks of winter. If winter means more days like today, or yesterday, I'm totally in!

Previously: Will the groundhog see his shadow?

It's Feb. 2 and that means it's Groundhog Day 2012. If the famous Punxsutawney woodchuck does not see his shadow than an early spring is expected, or so the tale goes.

I'm betting on an early spring. Although, we've enjoyed some unseasonably warm weather this winter so even if the groundhog sees his shadow, could another six weeks of this "winter" be that bad?

Six more weeks of campaigning for the March 20th primary. It would be nice to get a good voter turnout this year.
