Glenbard West Alum, Chicago Bear Headed to NY to Play for American Indoor League
Brandon Venson was signed to the Rochester Raiders on Monday.
Brandon Venson, a 2007 Glenbard West graduate, is getting a second chance to play professional football—this time in the American Indoor League, as a wide receiver with the Rochester Raiders, The Daily Herald is reporting.
The Raiders signed him on Monday.
Following his career with the Illinois State Redbirds—he played three seasons as a tight end—the 25-year-old from Glendale Heights was signed by the Chicago Bears in 2012.
