Winter Reading Clubs at the Library

Help fight the winter doldrums with the Glen Ellyn Public Library's Winter Reading programs for all ages.

Help fight the winter doldrums with the Winter Reading programs for all ages. Read books to earn fun prizes and enjoy checking items off of your to-read list.

Adults are invited to have fun and games at the library with this year’s Adult Winter Reading Club, running January 2 through March 15, 2012. Much like the summer reading programs you remember from childhood, this program for grown-ups encourages lifelong reading for adults of any age. Sign up online or at the library’s Adult Services Information Desk, and get a free deck of cards when you register. For every four books logged, you’re entered to win one of our grand prizes: $50 gift certificates from Target. The prize drawing will be held March 16.

For younger readers, GEPL is offering our annual Reading Patch Club program through April 30. Kids can earn patches for every five ours they read. With 45 different patches available, the reading possibilities are huge! Visit the library or download a reading log at gepl.org to get started. The Reading Patch Club is open to Glen Ellyn residents or those attending Glen Ellyn schools, from birth through 8th grade.
