Gift Book Sale & Holiday Book Drive

Visit GEPL to donate old books to kids in need and nab a great deal some holiday gifts!

This year, the Friends of the Glen Ellyn Library are sponsoring an ongoing gift book sale in the library lobby from November 25 through December 23. The selection of titles includes holiday reads, like-new gift books, and even some books autographed by favorite authors. There will also be books bundles, pre-wrapped in lovely holiday wrappings, making your season’s gift-giving even easier! Books are priced at half the market value and all sales benefit the Glen Ellyn Library.

From November 21 through December 4, the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn are hosting a book drive to benefit Pioneer Elementary School in West Chicago, IL. The Clubs are requesting donations of kindergarten through second grade level fiction and nonfiction books in Spanish. Also requested are kindergarten through sixth grade fiction and nonfiction books in English.  Books may be dropped off at the Glen Ellyn Library and other locations, listed at wheatonrotary.org and glenellynrotary.org.
