Comfort Food to Headline GEPL’s Open Mic Night at Honey Café on August 7th

Rich and Vicki Ingle of the folk duo Comfort Food will headline the next installment of GEPL’s Open Mic Night starting at 7pm on Wednesday, August 7 at Honey Modern Comfort Café (499 Main Street).

Three weeks after meeting, Rich and Vicki performed together for the first time. That night, Comfort Food was born. Comfort Food has spent the last five years writing and performing folk songs together and are currently working on a new album.

Open Mic Night is a great venue for performers looking to test new material and for art admirers to discover local creative artists. Acoustic musicians, singer-songwriters, poets and wordsmiths are invited to sign up for a ten-minute performance slot. Sign up starts at 6:30pm.
