SALT Representative Gives Tips on Scam Protection to Woman's Club Meeting


   

    The Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club meeting for Tuesday, March 1, at 1:00 P.M. , offers the membership and guests a very important program.  Joe Vanest, a member of Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (SALT) shares “Tips on Protecting Ourselves from Scams.”  Vanest is a charter member of SALT and serves as Vice President of the organization.  Scams are a common occurrence in DuPage County and telephone scams are the most prevalent.  Guests are welcome to join the club members in attending this important program.
    To make a reservation, call 630-469-6372.  The location of the Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club meeting is the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street.  The meeting room is on the second floor in Betty Clayton Hall.  Members and guests attending on Tues. March 1, are asked to bring a donation for the Peoples Resource Center.
