Lombard Gardeners Putting Best Foot Forward in April

    Friday, April 22, at 1:00 P.M.,  the Lombard Garden Club will take part in a program that will help them , “Put Your Best Foot Forward.” Landscaper, Shirley Remes will present a program that aids in ways to make  neighborhood front yards inviting and attractive.  Program Chairman, Sandra Strah, promises that Remes will have great tips for the garden club members and their guests. 
    The garden club meets at the Lombard Commons Park Building located at the corner of St. Charles Road and Grace Street.  Guests are welcome to attend the meetings and make a reservation by calling 630-469-6372. 
    On Thursday, May 5, Friday May 6 and Saturday, May 7, the club presents the 43rd  Annual Lilac Sale at Lilacia Park, 227 Parkside, Lombard.  Call 630-495-1920 for information.  Credit cards are not accepted at the Lilac Sale.
