Volunteer Sign-Up for Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ

We are desperately searching for volunteers to work 1 or 2

shifts at the Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ.  The event is Saturday, September

14th from 11 am – 9 pm.  The link to sign up is below:

 You can help out in many different ways:

1). Sell soda/water

2). Greet guests at entrance/exit gates (this is a requirement

from the Village to ensure alcohol does not leave the premise)

3). Sell beer/wine tickets – must be BASSET certified – I can

help you get your certification – call me!

4). Help with the Green Team – keep the event area tidy

 And many others.  The shifts are just 2 ½ hours and if you

volunteer for two shifts you will be given a ticket for free delicious BBQ!

 If you know of a youth group (older children and teens can

volunteer with some adult supervision), please pass on this email with

volunteer link.  Please pass this to your work colleagues, family, friends

and neighbors.  Are you in a service club? – pass it along to them.

 This event is very important to Bridge Communities and helps to raise a

significant amount of money. 

 PLEASE arrange your schedule to allow some time to

volunteer.  The event is lots of fun – live Blues bands, free food and

drink, cornhole bags tournament, and the list of fun goes on.
