Village Theatre Guild Presents "Other Desert Cities"

Glen Ellyn’s Village Theatre Guild
presents “Other Desert Cities,” by Jon Robin Baitz, Fridays and Saturdays Jan 17th through
Feb 8th at 8:00 pm with Sun matinees Jan 26th and Feb 2nd at 3:00 pm. The Broadway
play was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Brooke Wyeth, the
"black sheep" liberal daughter, returns home after a six-year absence
to celebrate Christmas in Palm Springs with her parents, members of the
conservative establishment. She announces that she is about to publish a memoir
dredging up a pivotal and explosive event in the family's history, a wound
which the Wyeths don’t want reopened. The VTG is located at the northwest
