The Art of Norman Rockwell Lecture Valentine Feature for Art Associates


     Wednesday, February 12, at the Carlisle, located at 435 East Butterfield Road in Lombard, the many members of the Glen Ellyn Wheaton Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago gather for their Valentine Luncheon and lecture focusing on the life and art of America’s most popular painter, Norman Rockwell.  Jeff Mishur, Vice-President of Art Excursions and Illinois Humanities Council speaker gives the audience insight into Rockwell’s adventures as an artist and gives them examples of Rockwell’s artistic achievements.  Tickets for the luncheon are $38 for members and $43 for non members. Guests are welcome.  The reservation period for the Valentine Luncheon concludes February 4.  Call the following numbers to make a reservation,  630-668-0685 or 630-620-8884.  Doors open at 11:30 AM, lunch is served at 12:00 PM and the program begins at 1:15 PM.
