The Village Theatre Guild of
Glen Ellyn presents Superior Donuts from March 21
through April 13. In this comedy-drama Tony Award and Pulitzer
Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts introduces us to Arthur who owns a rundown
donut shop in Chicago’s Uptown. Franco,
his eager young African-American employee, wants to change the shop for the
better. Hope clashes with hopelessness as their unlikely relationship develops.
Friday and Saturday
performances are at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. Tickets are $18. The Village Theatre Guild is located near the
