Sunday, December 8, at 5:00 PM, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 310 South Wheaton Avenue, in Wheaton, six area church choirs will combine to feature music written by Philip Stopford, a dynamic English composer who is making his first Chicago Land appearance. St. Michael’s choir from Wheaton , Sacred Heart choir in Lombard, Glen Ellyn church choirs: Grace Lutheran , First Presbyterian , First Congregational and St. Petronille
have united for this spectacular choral event. Stopford is the director for this concert titled Lessons and Carols. The music featured will include a program of original choral works by Stopford as well as traditional carols. For information call 630-462-5005. A free will offering will be collected.
