One Stop Re-Use & Recycling Depot

Do
you have unwanted, obsolete items cluttering your garage, storage and living
areas? The Village of Glendale Heights Green Team is hosting a “One-Stop,
Re-use & Recycling Depot” held on Saturday, April 26 from 8:00 am to noon
in the Glendale Heights Public Works parking lot located at 1615 Glen Ellyn
Road. Accepted items include:

Electronic equipment



·        
Household batteries

Car/boat/sump pump batteries



·        
Broken holiday lights

Medical equipment for the Re-use program

Prescription glasses



·        
Bikes



·        
Document shredding (from 10:00 am –
12:00 pm only!)

And many more other miscellaneous
items



All
items will be either reused or recycled in an eco-friendly matter.  Items not accepted include hazardous waste,
