NAMI of DuPage

diagnosed with mental illnesses. The 12-week series of classes will be
held:
Location & Start
Date:
Compass Church, 1551 E. Hobson Rd., Naperville, Tuesday,
March 4th- May 20th, 7-9:30pm (Faith Based)
Hinsdale Hospital, 120 Oak St., Hinsdale, Thursday, March
6th – May 22nd, 7-9:30pm

offered at no charge and is taught by two trained teachers who have experienced
mental illness in their own families.
Some comments from
past participants in this program:
“Hearing each
family’s story helped me realize I was not alone.”
“The course is very
informative. It gives me a better understanding of the “system” and the
individual with a mental illness. NAMI is doing a great job in bringing mental
illness out in the open and to the public.”
“The class provided
an optimistic outlook for myself and my family. Also gave me the tools to move
forward.”
While the Family to Family program is an educational
course, NAMI DuPage also has support groups at various locations. For
