Madeleine Peyroux in Concert

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Madeleine Peyroux
performs with her band and string section at the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) 425
Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn on Sunday, April 6 at 7 p.m. With a voice that has
been hailed for her uniqueness, Madeleine Peyroux delivers an eclectic mix of
musical genres including jazz, blues, country and pop. “If you like Billie
Holiday, try Madeleine Peyroux,” says the New York Times. Through renditions of
classic songs and modern tunes by the likes of Leonard Cohen and The Beatles,
Peyroux seamlessly fuses musical styles together to create an entirely
distinctive sound. Tickets are $48.
