Low Vision Products Road Show

To help reach out to northwest suburban residents and any family members who
may be experiencing vision loss, The Chicago Lighthouse is bringing its popular
Low Vision Products Road Show to Hoffman Estates on Wednesday, June 4th.

Highlights will include products that assist users in independent living,
computer aids, as well as other technology.  Voice activated GPS systems
as well as the new Synergy CCTV color video magnifier will be available for
purchase.  Accessibility software and speech to text diction programs will
also be for sale.

All products featured at the showcase will be available for sale at the Low
Vision Products Show, but are always available at the Lighthouse’s Tools for
Living store located in its headquarters building at 1850 W. Roosevelt Road in
Chicago and at our Chicago Lighthouse North location at 222 N. Waukegan Road in
Glenview.  The Chicago Tools for Living store is believed to be among the
first of its kind in the nation. It is uniquely designed to meet the needs of
consumers who are blind or visually impaired.
